As frequent flyers traveling between SF and LA every week, they were tired of going through airline websites with horrible UXs. Their booking process used to look like:

1. Open a few tabs on Google Flights with different routes
2. Experiment with several departure and return dates
3. Pick the cheapest trip from all the platforms, and then go to the airline website
4. Spend 15 minutes wrangling the airline’s awful passenger form
5. Select “no” on a dozen promoted upgrades and ancillaries
6. Manually enter credit card info, then finally book the flight

What should have taken 1 minute ends up taking 30.
