Founded by Chalmers Brown, Shir Halder & Zack Leman

Chalmers and Zack were Staff Engineers at Meta Super Intelligence labs building LLM training infrastructure and agents to assist ML Engineers. Before Meta, Zack built scalable real-time infra at AWS. Shir is similarly entrenched in the ML world, as a Research ML Engineer at Apple shipping production ML to billions of users and a Researcher at Lockheed Martin.

The Problem

Prompt engineering using Claude Code/Cursor isn’t enough to handle production ML workflows such as domain-specific feature engineering, model selection under constraints, hyperparameter optimization, and many more nuanced decisions that make it nearly impossible to move fast without dedicated ML engineering resources.

Hiring ML engineers can take 3-6+ months at $200K+ annually with costs skyrocketing for top talent. The barrier is even higher for SMBs: you need to build infrastructure, hire specialized engineers, and compete with tech giants, so your data sits unused. Companies with ML teams aren't much better off. Engineers spend most of their time on operational overhead (data wrangling, pipeline debugging, infrastructure maintenance) instead of innovation.‍
